NFIB Endorses John Kasich and Mary Taylor!

The National Federation of Independent Business endorsed the Kasich Taylor ticket for Governor and Lt. Governor of the State of Ohio. We could not be more proud to receive this endorsement since small business is the backbone of our state’s economy. The Dayton Daily News has the story:

The National Federation of Independent Business – Ohio, representing 24,000 small businesses, on Monday, July 19, endorsed Republican John Kasich for governor.

Steven M. Bowser, president of Bowser-Morner, Inc., in Huber Heights, was at the endorsement event at a Columbus truck dealership and afterward said that Kasich, a former Columbus-area U.S. House member, understands the issues facing small businesses, such as problems with the state’s workers’ compensation system, better than Democratic incumbent Ted Strickland.

“The current governor is a nice guy,” said Bowser. “I just don’t see him paying a lot of attention to those kinds of issues.” His engineering and testing company has about 150 employees, Bowser said.

Kasich, accompanied by Auditor Mary Taylor, his lieutenant governor running mate, pledged that as governor he would have a representative from small business regularly meet with his cabinet.

“We will put a place at the table for small business to be represented,” said Kasich.

Your latest tv ad is just perfect.

  2. Ann Kitzmiller says:

November 3 will indeed be a New Day and a New Way when the KasichTaylor team are at the helm in Ohio.

good luck we need you and your ideas

  4. Bill Scantlen says:

I am still waiting for your thoughts on gun rights in the state of Ohio andacross the nation.

  5. Please get John a better, more-professional haircut…the “sticking-up” short hairs on the sides and back make him look like a hayseed, which he is not. For many, first impressions are key…a more polished look will add votes.

  6. Richard Donley says:

Again, the production is poor. John is informally dressed in a formal setting, and moves his head and changes his expression so much as to appear twitchy.

The message itself is acceptable but feels over-long.

I’d like to know why “John and Mary are deeply humbled by NFIB’s endorsement…”Deeply appreciative, yes–”deeply humbled”, no.

  7. Sarah Fabian says:

It’s a great endorsement! Some of the content of this should be part of a TV ad, but I have to admit I agree about the haircut and the amount of moving.

  8. Jeannie Ford says:

The citizens of this state need a good Christian man like you to lead us out of this mess. Please keep your Christian values WHEN elected. God Bless!

  9. Virginia Fogg says:

I’m finding it difficult to see John Kasich as Governor. These videos are demeaning, and do not present him as suitable for the office. Please bring in consultants to improve his on-camera delivery and appearance. Drop the “bobble-head” effect and the Craig Ferguson-style hand-waving. And, dress properly as befits the future Governor of Ohio.
