- Co-sponsored President Ronald Reagan's Pro-Life Bill to repudiate Roe v. Wade and permanently prohibit federal funding for abortion.
- Voted for the "Mexico City Policy" to prevent U.S. tax dollars from funding international organizations that perform abortions.
- Voted repeatedly to ban partial-birth abortion.
As a member of the Ohio House of Representatives Mary Taylor:
- Was endorsed by Ohio Right to Life in every election.
- Voted to ban physician's assistants from prescribing drugs or devices that induce abortions.
