Ohio’s Comeback = America’s Comeback

Even as the most basic programs grind to a halt in Washington, states led by Republican Governors in Ohio, Louisiana, New Mexico, and South Carolina are leading the charge in rebounding America’s economy. Under Gov. John Kasich’s leadership, Ohio has cut income taxes, killed the “death” tax, modernized Medicaid, jump-started economic development, and closed an $8 billion budget shortfall without raising taxes. Gov. Kasich and Ohio are making progress at home, and driving the American Comeback.

You really need to push the State to pay the local school districts (e.g. Akron, in Summit County) what the State owes on their Medicare support program. I believe that overdue amount exceeds $800 million at present. By not reimbursing the school districts, they are forced to divert other monies to pay these expenses, that would have otherwise been used to directly supported their students in other normal areas.
    Thank you,

John Kasich should run for Presdent. I think he could get this nation on the right track. I hope he seriously considers it.

      Thanks Doris

There is much tension in the current Republican party. The old guard is fearful of the new “Tea Party” Republicans. Please help all the conservatives accept new ideas from each other in our Congress and urge them to come together in an unstoppable force to take our country back from the socialism future we are headed to. We have no leader in the White House. Something must be done soon. Thank you for your leadership and faith.

I hope the republicans can get our country back running as the constitution of the United States was intended to be. There is too many government policies on the American people. The judicial system was not to be a governing force. They were only to recommend an opinion. The government personal in Washington could save us a lot of money by living on the standards they have set for the rest of the people. Let them live on social security instead of the big pay checks. Let them live with the Obama insurance. The government was suppose to be run by the people and for the people not by a choice few.. I am pretty discussed over how our government wants the common person to stand all the cuts but are not willing to live by the same standards.

You know…when Governor Kasich took office, I heard him say, as he states in this video, the HE had an 8 billion dollar deficit…it was HIS problem, not the former governor’s. As Obama and the left CONTINUE to blame Bush, I’ve never ONCE, in ANY of his speeches or writings, heard him blame Strickland…not ONCE! He took this massive debt as his own personal challenge. He understood what he was up against and completely turned it around. Since the main stream media will not bring these issues to the public, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next election. If, God forbid, Mr. Kasich doesn’t get back in, and it IS someone on the left, are they going to praise Mr. Kasich for his vast surpluses and jobs that he created? As a single parent, for almost 10 years now, I understand what’s ahead of me and my challenges…it’s my responsibility and I have fully accepted that from day 1. I don’t ask the government to do anything for me personally. Our communities are our strength and we all pull together to accomplish the great task of life. At what point do we have to give up our community help to help the federal government support it’s entitlement programs? I’d rather help out my neighbor in my small community because he just lost his job to outsourcing…Mr. Kasich…you should run for President !!

This is a nice series of videos. As I listen to them, they all state aspirations and achievements that all, left and right, would agree on. If you would remove the name of the governor and the state, a video from Brown in California would sound the same – and you could end it saying America needs Democratic governors.
The point is, that there are really very small differences between Democrats and Republicans at the center. Morally we are all aligned. The problem with Washington is not a Democrat’s or a Repblican’s problem. It is a structural problem. We are a crossroad of how representative government should work and the solution is anyone’s guess right now. The constitution does not provide the answer anymore in this globally interconnected world.
So let’s see, how this will evolve. What form of government will eventually prevail is what historians will look back 50 years from now: India’s, China’s, America’s? It is anybody’s guess.

I am disgusted with the whole DEBACKLE OF WASHINGTON DC and our government. We need more people like Gov Kasich. All of the government need to live with the same RULES they have established for us. I really worry for all of our futures ,unless something changes we cant go on like this. We have to pay the piper!!!!!
